Announcement for a local consultant to formulate an Action Plan for the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Main duties and responsibilities:

1. Obtain inputs from stakeholders through meetings, workshops and other participatory discussions to formulate an Action Plan to implement CRC concluding comments.

2.      To finalize a comprehensive national action plan for CRC in collaboration with relevant stake holders.

Minimum qualifications:

-          University Degree (MA, PhD or equivalent) in Social Sciences, Law, Economics or other related field.

-          Professional experience in child rights and CRC.

-          Excellent writing and analytical skills.

-          Strong skills in interpersonal relations, networking and communication.

-          Experience in conducting participatory workshops and discussions,

-          Computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point and other).

Translation of a 10 page document from English to Dhivehi

Minimum qualifications:

1.Professional experience in translating documents from English to Dhivehi.

2.Computer skills

3.Expertise in the area of child rights or related field would be an added advantage.
